Wednesday Breakfast
Club and Bingo

Our Wednesday Open Social takes place every week from 10:30am to 4pm and is open to both Deaf and hearing people, including members and visitors.

The group provides a warm, welcoming, and accessible space for people to enjoy good company, take part in activities, and feel part of the community.

The morning begins with a relaxed breakfast-club style session from 10:30am to 12pm, offering toast, bacon sandwiches, and a range of hot drinks. From 12pm onwards, the day moves into an open social setting, giving everyone the chance to chat, catch up with friends, and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.

From 1pm to 4pm, we are joined by Sarah, a Social Worker from the local council. Sarah can be found in Room 3, located near the main front office. She is available to offer support with adaptive equipment, assist with phone calls, and signpost individuals to the right services, ensuring people can access the help and information they need in an accessible and comfortable environment.

In the afternoon, around 2pm, the group gathers for a lively game of Bingo, which is always a highlight and enjoyed by many of our regular attendees.

The Wednesday Open Social is more than just a weekly meet-up—it provides a supportive environment where Deaf people can communicate freely without barriers, helping to reduce loneliness, promote social connection, and create a sense of comfort and belonging for people across Warrington and the surrounding areas. Hearing visitors are equally welcome, contributing to an inclusive space where everyone can connect, interact, and share experiences.

We welcome new faces each week and look forward to seeing our community continue to grow.
