Warrington BSL
Signing Choir
Our Warrington BSL Signing Choir meets on the first and third Thursday of every month from 7pm to 9pm and welcomes both Deaf and hearing members.
The choir is a vibrant, inclusive group with a shared passion for British Sign Language, music, and community.
The aim of the Signing Choir is to make learning and using BSL enjoyable and accessible, while also bringing music to Deaf audiences in a meaningful and visual way. Through expressive signing, rhythm, and performance, the choir creates an engaging experience that can be enjoyed by everyone—regardless of hearing ability.
In addition to promoting the joy of signed music, the choir works to raise the profile of Warrington Deaf Centre and supports fundraising efforts that directly benefit the local Deaf community.
The Signing Choir regularly performs across the region and is proud to be part of local public events.
Previous performances have taken place at venues such as The Parr Hall, Trafford Centre, Warrington Disability Awareness Day, Green Oaks Shopping Centre in Widnes, Amazon, and many other community events and celebrations.
Whether you’re looking to improve your signing skills, meet new people, enjoy performing, or support a meaningful cause, our Signing Choir offers a friendly, welcoming space for all.
